This page outlines the step-by-step process for using ShieldPay, whether you're off-ramping from cryptocurrency to USD or on-ramping from USD to cryptocurrency.

Step 1: Complete KYB Verification
Our system verifies your business and it's owners by performing:
- Sanctions checks
- PEP screening (Politically Exposed Persons)
- Negative news searches and criminal history checks.
This process ensures compliance and eliminates risk by conducting off-chain real-world scanning.
Step 2: Transaction Scanning
Before any transaction, we screen wallets you want to interact with for:
- Sanctions violations
- Terrorist financing
- Child/Sexual Exploitation Material (CSAM)
- Fraud, money laundering, and other illicit activities
This is performed using on-blockchain scanning tools, providing a secure and compliant transaction process.
Off-Ramp Process: Crypto to Fiat
Initiate Transaction
Indicate you'd like to off-ramp and select your blockchain and currency (e.g., USDT on the Tron network).
Provide Bank Details
Enter your bank information (name, routing number, account number, address).
Get Deposit Address
We provide a dedicated deposit address and QR code for your crypto transfer.
Crypto to Fiat Transfer
Once USDT is received at the deposit address, we initiate a same-day wire transfer to your bank (minus pre-agreed fees).
Track & Complete Transaction
Monitor transaction and wire status via our dashboard. Once the wire lands, the transaction is complete, and you receive an invoice for accounting and tax records.
On-Ramp Process: Fiat to Crypto
Initiate Transaction
Indicate how you'd like to send USD (via wire, ACH, SWIFT transfer, PayPal, etc.).
Specify Crypto Details
Select your preferred cryptocurrency, blockchain, and wallet address (all wallets undergo screening).
Get Wire Instructions
Receive dedicated wire information for sending your USD.
Fiat to Crypto Transfer
Once we receive the wire, we immediately transfer the cryptocurrency to your wallet (minus pre-agreed fees).
Track & Complete Transaction
Monitor transaction status via our dashboard. Once the crypto transfer is complete, you receive an invoice for accounting and tax purposes.
